Competa is just north-east of Malaga.

A car is highly recommended, and there are many inexpensive car rental agencies at Malaga airport.

A taxi can be arranged to pick you up from the airport and bring you to the village. The cost is approx 60 euros.

Drive time from Malaga airport to Competa is approx 1 hour (50 kms). Half of this is the E15 motorway and the other half is winding mountain road (add 15 mins if travelling to the finca).

On arrival in the village the owner can meet you with the keys and escort you to your destination (no later than 10pm).

Car parking in the village is 50 metres from the Casa so light luggage is suggested as are sensible shoes for both locations.
